The Public Prosecutor's office of NADO ITALY defers 26 athletes and asks for two years of disqualification. Dismissal is suggested for another 39 cases
The Anti-Doping Public Prosecutor's Office of NADO Italy communicates that, on the basis of the "Olimpia" enquiry conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bolzano and of the outcomes of the investigations carried out in the sporting arena with the opening of disciplinary procedures towards 65 athletes due to the violation of art 2.3 (evasion of control) and art 2.4 (lack of availability), as well as of the investigations and checks based on the declarations made by said athletes in the hearings and on the basis of the documentation produced by said individuals, has issued the following provisions, which will be examined by the qualified Sections of Italy’s Anti-Doping National Tribunal:
