The biathlon brings us a seventh medal, bronze in the mixed relay
The biathlon mixed relay brings us an emotional bronze in one of the new disciplines in the Winter Olympics programme. The team made up of Dorothea Wierer, Karin Oberhofer, Dominik Windish and Lukas Hofer (average age of 24.75, the lowest amongst all the teams in the race) took the podium at the end of an intense race, in which the Italians were always right up there, just behind Norway and the Czech Republic. Italy, who has therefore now reached a total of 7 medals, had not been on the podium in this discipline since Nagano 1998 when Pieralberto Carrara took silver.
