HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE: Rejected appeal and request for an injunction filed by A.S. Rome
The High Court of Justice rejected the appeal filed by A.S. Rome S.p.A. against the Italian Football Association for a stay of execution, cancellation and in any event the reform/review of the Sports Judge’s decision to impose on the applicant company the fine of € 50,000, with the obligation to play a match with the fields named "South Curve" and "North Curve" with no spectators, ordering the lifting of the suspension of the penalty imposed by decision of 21 October 2013.
In addition, the High Court dismissed the application for urgent injunctions brought by A.S. Rome S.p.A. against the Italian Football Association for a stay of execution, cancellation and in any event the reform/review of the Sports Judge’s decision to impose the fine on the applicant company of € 80,000 and with the obligation to play a match with the field named "Distinct South" with no spectators, art. 18 letter e of the Sports Justice Code.
