CONI wishes to inform that the news regarding the appointment of a future General Director of the Organizing Committee for Rome 2024, appeared this morning in a certain sports daily newspaper, is totally unfounded.

CONI and the other bodies involved in said designation will – as repeatedly stated – communicate the final composition of the "team" at the beginning of next week.
