FORO10The First Chamber of the National Anti-Doping Court has accepted the request for dismissal from the Antidoping Prosecutor’s Office stating that the athlete Francesco Acerbi, registered with the Italian Football Federation and the Italian Football Club U.S. Sassuolo is not responsible for any anti-doping violation.

The First Chamber of the National Antidoping Court has also issued three other judgments:

The athlete Valerio Checchi (Winter Sports) has been suspended for 1 year (in compliance with Articles 2.4 and 4.3.3 of the NSA and 2.4 and 10.3.3 of the WADA Code) with effect from 14/04/2014 to 13/04/2015. The athlete was also ordered to pay the costs of the proceedings quantified at a flat rate of Euro 325.00;

Mr Antonio Floria, in relation to the investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of Trento, has been banned for 18 years (in compliance with Articles. 2.2, 2.7, 4.3.2 and 4.7.4 of the NSA 2.2, 2.7, 10.3.2 and 10.7. 4 of the WADA Code) with effect from 14/04/2014 until 13/04/2032 and was sentenced to pay the costs of the proceedings quantified at a flat rate of Euro 325.00.

Mr Ivano Angheben, in relation to the investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of Trento, has been banned for 20 years (in compliance with Articles. 2.7, 2.8, 4.3.2 and 4.7.4 of the NSA and 2.7, 2.8, 10.3.2 and 10.7 4 of the WADA Code) with effect from 04/14/2014 until 04/13/2034 and was sentenced to pay the costs of the proceedings quantified at a flat rate in Euro 325.00.
